కథా, అభిప్రాయాలూ చదివాక నాకు అనిపించింది - శైలి బాగుంది.
2. ఓ సిద్దాంతానికి కట్టుబడి రచనలు చేస్తున్నప్పుడు కేవలం ఆసిద్ధాంతానికి ఉపయోగపడే వాదనలే రాస్తారు. రచయితకి ఉండాల్సిన సమద్రుష్టి లోపిస్తుంది.

ఈ మధ్య ఎన్నో సేవా సంస్థలు వచ్చాయి. రకరకాల ఉద్యోగాలు వచ్చాయి. కేవలం వ్యభిచారం మాత్రమే ప్రతీ సమస్యకీ పరిష్కారంగా చూపటం ఏమీ బాలేదు. చదువు మీద శ్రద్ధ ఉన్న కథానాయిక కాస్తైనా సృజనాత్మకంగా ఆలోచించలేక పోవటం వింతగా ఉంది. పేపర్ లో చదువు కోసం డబ్బు కావాలి అనే ఏడ్ చూసి వెంటనే స్పందించే వారు ఇప్పటికీ ఉన్నారు. ఇది వరకటికన్నా అవకాశాలు పెరిగాయి. ఆలోచన లో పరిణతి, కాస్త ఊహా శక్తి, ఉంటే చాలు.. కుంటీ గుడ్డి వాళ్ళు సైతం ఎన్నైనా సాధించేస్తున్నారు.. నాకు తెలిసీ గౌరవప్రదమైన పనఉలే చేసుకుంటూ ఇదే నగరంలో జీవించే నిరాధారులైన వాళ్ళు చాలామందే ఉన్నారు. ఆటువంటి వారికి సహాయం అందించేవాల్లూ ఉన్నారు. స్త్రీకి గౌరవంగ జీవించటానికి ఇప్పుడెన్నో సదుపాయాలున్నాయి. సేవాసంస్ఠలూ ఉన్నాయి.
దయ చేసి ఇటువంటి నిరాశాజనక కథలు రాయటం ఇప్పటికైనా మానమని ప్రఖ్యాత రచయిత్రిగారికి మనవి. కాస్త మీ ఋణాత్మక దృక్పథాన్ని విడిచి ప్రగతి శీలంగా, సకారాత్మకంగా ఆలోచించి నావంటి మీ అభిమానులకోసం స్ఫూర్తిదాయకమైన కథలు, ప్రబోధాత్మకంగా లేక పోయినా కనీసం కాస్త ధైర్యమ చెప్పి వెన్ను తట్టే కథలు రాయమని మనవి.

I do feel that this story is very old fashioned and judgmental, and unusual from Olga.

Fed up with these stereotype rural preaching. Story reflects the moral ambition of the writer if not hypocrisy. The way she is looking at the things is very very simplistic. If the rural “vennela” is so bright why don’t we go and stay there? Why we confined ourselves to the urban a/cs? On one hand we are enjoying the urban exposure and we are preaching ruralism to others!!!! I don’t expect this kind of a story from a veteran feminist writer! At last India witnessing a sea change in productive activities. Women are coming out of their homes and getting recognition and value for the work. This positive development must be appreciated. Why do we demoralize them? Why do we often link the “modern” jobs of call center, and customer care with prostitution? Is there any point becoming insensitive towards these fields? We can fight against the globalization and the new development model. But for that we don’t need to shed our sensibilities.

నగరజీవితం మాయలేడి లాగా తన తళుకుబెళుకులతో యువతను కవ్వించి మానవీయ విలువలను చిధ్రం చేస్తున్న దృశ్యాన్ని ఓల్గా గొప్పగా ఆవిష్కరించారు.
గ్లొబలైజేషన్ మన గ్రామీణ జీవన మూలాల్ని ఎలా ధ్వంసం చేస్తున్నదో కూడా కథలో స్పర్శా మాత్రం గా తెలిపారు.
